Find Me On Medium

Posted by KatieSoo

For those who don’t know, I was recently invited to be a contributor on Medium and (I don’t say this lightly) — but it’s an extremely well designed platform.  If you’re not familiar with it, their Founder Evan Williams, describes it best:

Medium is a new place on the Internet where people share ideas and stories that are longer than 140 characters and not just for friends. It’s designed for little stories that make your day better and manifestos that change the world. It’s used by everyone from professional journalists to amateur cooks. It’s simple, beautiful, collaborative, and it helps you find the right audience for whatever you have to say.

Simply speaking — the site is easy on the eyes, encourages collaborative writing and has a team of highly engaged editors who roll up their sleeves and participate in every post that comes through.  Being from a startup background myself, that’s admirable.

I’ll let the site do the talking this round. Check it out and don’t forget to read my latest post: Don’t Date the LinkedIn Girl

Also, they’re not letting everyone in to write for them at the moment, but you can still sign up to recommend posts and be a part of the community. It’s exciting to be a part of something @ev created and I’m glad we’re finally breaking the 140 character wall. It’s time.
